I breathe life into stories with paper, ink and pixels.
The images I create evoke memories of folk tales and legends, dreams and archetypes. These are the stories that awaken recognition and draw the viewer in. I love to create images that have a narrative element to them, and I try to give the stories a fresh perspective.
My background in fine arts showed me the freedom and immediacy of drawing. From my graphic design training, I learned the precision and flexibility that come with digital work. My illustrations push and pull to find the balance between these two opposing disciplines.
