Illustrators Australia is the longest-running, leading non-profit organisation for illustrators in Australia, Aotearoa/New Zealand, and the Australasian region. As a peer-led network of illustrators, we support each other. We promote our members work, create opportunities, provide resources and advocate for our industry. We defend human creativity and foster a culture that values the arts.

We build business and create community, for our unique emerging and renowned creative talents.

Illustrators Australia acknowledge that we live and work on Indigenous lands in Australia and Aotearoa/New Zealand and that Australia was never ceded. We recognise that the original custodians have a deep and ongoing connection to the land, seas and waterways. We honour the depths and diversity of First Nations peoples’ artistic and cultural practices and expression, both historical and contemporary. We pay respect to their art, culture, communities, knowledge, storytellers and stories. It is our responsibility to respect this cultural and natural heritage, to listen and learn, and to share this place with due reverence to its unique spirit, which inspires us daily.
We welcome membership applications from First Nations' illustrators from Australia and Aotearoa/New Zealand.

Illustrators Australia is a non-profit, incorporated association. As a peer-based professional organisation, we are dedicated to supporting the illustration industry in Australia and beyond.
