Guy Little is an illustrator, artist, and professional photographer based in Black Rock, Melbourne. His passion for drawing began in childhood and continues to evolve as he pursues a Master's degree at Falmouth University in the UK, focusing on integrating drawing and photography. Guy holds a Bachelor of Arts in Design from Curtin University, Western Australia.
His education also includes workshops in Botanical Illustration, Japanese Ink Brush Painting, and 3D Paper Sculpture. Between 2013 and 2014, Guy was awarded the Bayside City Council Artist in Residence position in Brighton, Victoria. He also taught Life Drawing at RMIT University for five years.
Guy’s work primarily uses pencil, pen and ink wash, and Japanese ink and brush techniques. He has exhibited widely in group shows and held a major solo exhibition, “Drawing Life,” at Hay Shed Hill Gallery, Margaret River, WA, in 2015. His style is mainly black and white, quirky, and surreal, marked by meticulous detail and a joyful exploration of dot work.
