Gregory holds a Master of Art Therapy from Western Sydney University, as well as a Post-graduate Diploma in Printmaking from Kyoto Seika University. He also earned a B.A. (Visual) in Graphic Investigation with a focus on Drawing from the Canberra School of Art at ANU. He is a prize-winner of the 5th Noma Concours for Children's Picture Book Illustrations, an event organized by UNESCO. His work has been exhibited at the 3rd World Picture Book Illustrations Exhibition held in both Tokyo and Bratislava. In 2012, Gregory was selected as one of only 11 illustrators representing Australia at the juried 4th Croatian Biennale of Illustration in Zagreb. During this event, he conducted a workshop and participated in an interview at the Galerija Klovicevi Dvori gallery. Additionally, his work was featured in the Book Illustrators Gallery at the Asian Festival of Children’s Content (AFCC), held at the Singapore National Library from May 25 to 30, 2013.
