By filling in this form you are applying to become a member of Illustrators Australia, a non-profit Incorporated Association made up of creative people like you. You can also use this form to upgrade your membership, update your portfolio or to sign-up to volunteer.

  • This form will be used to assess your application. If successful, the information in the first section will be added to our members register (only accessible to members upon request). Please inform us if you want your contact details to be left off the register. Please see below form for the links to our T&Cs and Model Rules. Please read the criteria below, we welcome applications from under-represented and diverse folk.

  • The second section is for your portfolio and public profile. Please only include information you wish to be publicly known and published on our website. Please ensure you follow our guidelines and T&Cs.

Membership Criteria:

  • Open to Australian, Aotearoa/New Zealand or Australasian regions, citizens or residents (or those who have an ongoing connection to Australia).

  • All applications must be from genuine illustrators, designers or creatives.

  • Student, Affiliate and Organisational Members must prove their status.

  • Professionals are peer-assessed to meet professional and ethical standards.

  • You must agree to our T&Cs and Code of Conduct when applying.

Membership Processing:

  • All memberships are reviewed and approved by the committee.

  • Usually, membership applications are approved within a few days or 1-2 weeks (occasionally longer, during the holiday period).

  • We will endeavour to inform you of your success as soon as possible.

  • Once we receive your application, and it has been approved we will contact you to arrange payment.
